Join the McGill Symphony Orchestra as they kick off their 2019-2020 season with a multi-work program opening with Weber’s bright and lively Invitation to the Dance, orchestrated by Berlioz, and closing with Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis after Themes by Weber. Connecting these two masterworks are Ravel’s famous Le Tombeau de Couperin, Liszt’s Prelude and fugue on B-A-C-H, and a stunning performance of Dvorak’s Four Folk Songs by Schulich’s own Annamaria Popescu. You won’t want to miss this exciting and exceptionally varied program by one of Canada’s foremost student orchestras led by maestro Alexis Hauser!
