Wayne Riddell Interview: 'A Legacy that Sings'

Published: 4 July 2019

Choral conductor Wayne Riddell has long been an important figure in the Montreal and McGill music communities, holding positions such as the chorus master of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and professor at the Schulich School of Music. Riddell has established a bequest that will support choral students at McGill through two separate funds -- the Wayne Riddell Choral Award, and the Norman Beckow Choral Excellence Endowment Fund (named after his late partner).

McGill Giving recently published an interview with Riddell, where he discusses in part the impact that his bequests will have on the faculty, his life in music and more.
